ok, so i admit, at first i was convinced that this was a camel spider but after much research and after actually finding one later on after recording this, i have come to find that this is not a camel spider. but, it's still scared the crap ouot of us and we still took care of it like it were a camel spider.

That's a myth. Average size of a camel spider is 3". But Camel spiders aren't spiders at all, though they are arachnids.
