keep talkinhg bullshit philo:) it is not forbidden to dream , you know it:D it is not written in history that persians did it, besides there are actually nothing called tajik , esically at that time..as i said: BULLSHIT
haha im actually ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
haha im actually starting to like you my turkic friend, nothing called tajik? i wonder where those famous phrases "turku-tojik" all over persian literature came from...as you say...keep dreaming; i dont understand why you are discriminating against us so much, i didn't say anything bad i just aid its undeniable that these cities are tajik, i mean - just LOOK AT THE PEOPLE - THEY ARE PERSANOPHONES - THEY SPEAK FARSI.
yes so sad they ... ( 1 year ago by Sovietsky89)
yes so sad they speak farsi, but there are not persians, and the whole history isnt persian or tajik eather.persian is maybe language of litterature, still it is not more than that
You are absolutely ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
You are absolutely right Behzad - it is obvious that they are tajik cities; nomadic turkic peoples have never been able to create such civilization and architecture. They were forced into russification, and now through uzbekification. Uzbeks actually sacrificed Khujand to have Samarkand and Bukhara. Russians created these false borders for geopolitical reasons. cheers!!!
Yes - YOU have ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
Yes - YOU have always been Uzbek - more specifically nomadic turkic mongolian descendants, but not original Samarkandians and Bukharians.
Yes - i have been ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
Yes - i have been to Uzbekistan, and next time i come there, i would like to be your guest too :) I am not fighting for anything, i just think that people should never be forced to become something they are not; i agree with you that many tajiks have intermixed with uzbeks and other nomadic peoples but what i think is that Russia has done a great disservice by dividing the boundaries of Taj and Uzb;
in my opinion, all ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
in my opinion, all tajik speaking people should be able to go to tajik schools in their country (Tajikistan) and all uzbeks to their own schools in Uzbekistan; language and culture should never be imposed on anyone; for example, my grandparents are from Ghabodion and Khujand, and there are many uzbeks there; people speak uzbek at homes; similarly in Samarkand and Bukhara, people speak Tajik at home, why should they be forced to be tajik at home and uzbek at schools?
why can't we be ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
why can't we be something we are everywhere? I think the boundaries of Taj and Uzb are extremely badly divided and that they have to be reconsidered, or else i have absolutely no problem with uzbeks; in fact i have family who live in Khorazm.
Tajikistan has to ... ( 1 year ago by philoprincess)
Tajikistan has to give back uzbek-speaking territory back to Uzbekistan and similarly Uzbekistan has to give back Tajik-speaking territories back to Tajikistan; we cannot be imposed, Russia imposed russian to us during Soviet rule and now it Taj and Uzb's turn to impose their language on each other??? i dont think so.
philoprincess, calm ... ( 1 year ago by ALkaFone)
philoprincess, calm down, don be so nervous about Tajiks in uzbekistan...nobody's hurting them!!!U're right about borders:we should redivide the territory and then uzbekistan will be 5 or 6 times bigger than it is now. Uzbekistan has always been the strongest country in the region so Soviets tried to make it as small as possible, and gave its lands to other central asians.Samarkand and Buhara have always been OUR cities, and a couple of tajiks there does not mean they are Tajik cities.
Moreover, ... ( 1 year ago by ALkaFone)
Moreover, philoprincess,Uzbeks have never been Nomads.u'd better talk about what u know.otherwise u look extremely incompetent. One proof-try to find out how old OUR cities(Tashkent,Samarkand,Buhara,Urgench,Khiva, etc) are!Nomads DO NOT have big and old cities!so think before u talk!

I think u r not so ... ( 1 year ago by kimaljon)
I think u r not so right. Cause Person iteslf should decide where to live and in what language he wants to sepeak. 4 sample I was born in Kurgan-Tyube (Taj), grown up in Samarkand(Uzb), and now live in Tokyo.
Result. I love my motherland Kurga-Tyube, I like my second motherland Samarkand because there r a lot of my friends, Tokyo where I`m geting my business.
That is why let people themselves to think what to do.

Also, you are lucky to have a wife (or girlfriend) who likes to take trips like this. I am an American who lives in China and would love to go there. I just can't picture me asking my wife, "Hey baby, let's go to UZBEKISTAN for vacation."
The question above is not humorous but a real query.

you know what is ... ( 11 months ago by mrsquonks)
you know what is funny bout you? that you spent SOOO much time trying to say us that lol. but know that - there are NO Bukharians or Samarkhandians, that think that their homeland is Tajikistan. By you logic, USA could be a part of England, France or even Spain. I mean dude, this is total Bullshit, all that you said. And Khiva has NOTHING to do with Tajikistan, it's originally Persian sity. And all Khivians speak Uzbek, not any other language. stfu
are you tajik? do ... ( 11 months ago by mrsquonks)
are you tajik? do you know that Samarkand and Bukhara being parts of tajikistan means - more people without water and light throughout the whole year. more people always hungry. more people dead in terrible tajik war. now - Uzbekistan IS the country, thatcan at least give some food to it's people, at least waaaaay more than dying tajikistan does. so stop bullshiting people with stupid posts!
dude, this ... ( 11 months ago by mrsquonks)
dude, this architecture exists even in Turkmenistan rofl. do you say it is a part of tajikistan as well? how bout all CA being a part of Mavarranahr? or even Arabic Halifat? huh? do you really think it matters? i mean all samarkandians count themselves only as Uzbeks.
yeah, we - Uzbeks ... ( 11 months ago by mrsquonks)
yeah, we - Uzbeks are probably monkeys rofl, we have never been able to make a shit. so what do you mean by the Tajik architecture? registan, which was built in 15-16th senturies? maybe temerlans creations? he indeed was tajik, from Dushanbe i guess haha. you are sooo funny philo, my god so funny
fuck off everyone ... ( 11 months ago by taratuta10)
fuck off everyone with all your bla bla stories about whom these cities belong to...today is uzbekistant but nobody knows what is gonna be after let's say 100 years....China? what would then be comments from so call "tajik or uzbek origins"...
Look. All yall talk ... ( 10 months ago by oojackaroe)
Look. All yall talk trash amongst each other, but the truth is, ALL Central Asian countries are so rich in history, it'd be hard to identify one tribe or people as a predominant one. I've been all around Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. I've got nothin but great respect for all of those that live there. Except for the zealous idiots that want to blow shit up. Have an awesome 2008. PEACE I'm outta here!
