I love that this stuff is posted on youtube- because it shows the way it is, and the way it always will be because we as a Corps are not going to bow to the commie tree huggin' liberals. Haha,there will never be a definite answer to this question. You get all the same training at both places.
Once you get past Recruit Training, a Marine is a Marine no matter where they went.

wow mongo, i thought i was the only one who was sick of all the political correctness running wild in this country. want to join the marines because of their no bs attitude and the fact that they aren't going to nice anything up for you, but im not sure they'd let me in because of some dumb medical reason. also think that all of our forces should adapt the marine basic training program.

I don't think either is better. But I don't think there are any sand fleas in San Diego, which would be a big plus. On the other hand, there's an airport near MCRD San Diego and it would suck to see the planes flying overhead- recruit training is easier when you just forget the outside world.
