Yes indeed. This made season 5 the most greatest season ever. I've not seen anything like this on the past seasons, even on season 6. This is a truly magical moment in american idol history...

Taylor was awesome, is awesome, and will always be awesome. Idol has been dull since Taylor. Nobody has shown a love for entertaining like Taylor Hicks.

Kat had talent, yes. She was a good singer, yes. But she was just like every other generic pop singer out there. There was nothing truly special about her. Taylor is, was and always will be an entertainer. He is doing just fine! His cd is wonderful! He has a true passion that I never saw in Kat. That is why he won.

Absolutely. and about kat, she has an incredible voice and there's no doubt about that fact. but, i think she's not so musically smart. her own arrangements of songs that she sang in the competition were frequently awful. hope she's becoming better. well, she has a promising career as a pop star 'coz she's got voice, looks, and likability.

the best part is the "oooooooohooooohoooo" part(don't know how to type it, but you all know what I mean) That note was spectacular and HOW he held it and in perfect harmony and pitch for so long I don't know!!!
