The problem with us Iranian is that we are cowards. We are afraid to face ourselves. And that's why we live in the past. Cyrus this, Cyrus that. Cyrus doesn't live anymore man. He is dead! If we accepted our weaknesses, we could start to build up our country. But no everybody is in denial.

The new generation of Jews in the US r turning away from supporting Israel. They doing that cuz supporting Israel is becoming a liability for Americans.
The Iranian diaspora detached itself from the Mullahs right at the beginning partly because of lack democracy in Iran but also cuz of the bad PR against Iran in the West.
The US invasion of Iraq has proved that not only the US isnt interested in democracy, she will deceive her own ppl in order to accomplish the objectives of Israel.
There is therefore nothing wrong with respecting our past but we have history being made right now before our eyes in Iran.

Iran is not a Zoroastrian country man. I agree that there are Iranians living in Iran with Zoroastrian faith. But majority of Iranians have Islamic faith. Most of Zoroastrians live in India anyway. Iran has been a Muslim country since the Islamic conquests round 7th century. so who is in denial my man?
And with "coward" I don't mean: I am not a coward so I am going to fight them. Or I am not afraid to die. With "coward" I mean, being unable to take responsibility for your own thoughts or actions. I use "Coward" in the following way: self imposed immaturity. Blaming others, for your own shortcoming.

and about the islam thing, yeah most iranians are currently muslim i get it, what I am getting at is that orginally we werent, but after the coqnquest in i don't know the exact date, we are and have been for a long time oh well, nothing i can do about it but yeah I understand what ur saying
Advising ppl not to be in denial is admirable but practise what you preach; dont deny the progress of Iran and learn to deal with it.
