Yes, he truly was a hero. Ahmadshah Masoud fought of both the Russians and the Taliban. Afghanistan was occupied twice, and everyone left except for Masoud. Masoud should always be remembered as a hero of Afghanistan for all of us Afghans. It is so sad how it ended though. Let us all hope for a brighter future for our watan. Thank you.
