What's with this "hop's about"? if you think belly dancing is strictly hip-shaking and torso movement you're completely incorrect. Please research twelve veils and true genuine belly dancing. They do not always use hip movement for it would be very boring to just watch vibrating hips. They also dance to the music, swinging around, twirls, spins, to the rythem. They also use giant beautiful sheets to dance with, hence the twelve veils.
