Army Specialist Nick Paupore comes home for the first time to his home town of Traverse City, MI since his injury form a roadside bomb in Iraq July 2nd 2006, that claimed his right leg. He came home to surprise his son Cody for his 9th birthday. His children Mailey and Cody are staying with his Mother-in-law Debra Ester in Traverse City while Nick with the help of his wife Maria stay at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for extensive Rehabilitation. He shows off his new computerized prosthetic leg.
