This video was produced to promote The Searchers album of 1988 "Hungry Hearts" on the Coconut Records label. At this time, the Searchers consisted of John McNally, Frank Allen, Billy Adamson and Spencer James who had replaced Mike Pender four years previous.

I saw them on the same tour at Fallsview Niagara Casino. Two full houses of 1400. I've seen them numerous times and I think this was the best overall show apart from time constraints meaning they skipped any Sire era material. :(

MUCH better than Mike Pender - this is the REAL Searchers while Mike (although a good artist) is still trying to use his time in The Searchers for his benefit. Why did he quit since he has nothing new to present? At the same time the REAL Searchers are presenting a great show with new songs as well as the oldies.
