Vesuvius '99 - Part one

Video Description:
This is the first of three parts of a 30 minute sitcom pilot. The classic story of the underdog rising up to the challenge of a lifetime. Vesuvius is an ice cream man, who is constantly bullied by his teenage customers, but when life is turned upside down after being dumped by his girlfriend he decides to overcome his self esteem issues and become a boxer. With his best friend Afghan, a witless renegade fairground worker, by his side he embarks upon a voyage of discovery that pushes him to the edge of sanity and back again. This film won us a Royal Television Society Award at student level and we're proud of it.

Vesuvius is a hilarious story. Make sure you watch all three parts, it's funny throughout with it's own score neatly woven in to a story that's not afraid of parody or homage.

Ignore the comment from the idiot above, it's hardly constructive and shows a poor understanding of film making - I doubt if he's watched the whole thing through. The sound and picture have suffered as a result of being on the web. It's still worth watching and the story triumphs over any technical difficulties. Incidentally graduates go on to earn a far higher wage than others and will consequently contribute a far higher amount to the exchequer than said idiots measly tax payments.
