yes, she is very gifted & talanted, but unfortunatly her talant made her lot of enemies (may Allah panish them). she is still in Dushanbe, just been banned by our ruling family fr TV & radio, but tajik's & Tajikistan love her..inshaalah her luck will turn to better!

Bahori Dushanbe, I just read your post and can you please explain why Manija is banned from radio & TV in Tajikistan from the point of view of the ruling family or say what you think - maybe you need to be careful also.

titaniumtube, thanks for caring about my safety, but don't worry what i wrote in here it's a common knowledge in Taj & it's true. since the beg2006 she has been banned fr TV&Radio, it's started with one of the private TV station, who was owned by PowersTobe, then all the others followed. at the beg tajik people thought that MD too busy with foreign trips, then realised that it's proper orcestrated compain by a gr of jelaous & talantless individuals...

by the end of 2006 people started talking about MD, there wasn't a site of her in 2007 either, but her fans were getting worried, then in June or July BBC persian did interv her (see tajik tafreh prog), she sang her new song for BBC. again nothing about het until the end of 07 when some indep.newsp reported about MD's problems, even BBC pers published it in Dec/Jan, then security servs said that there is no danger to her life.like i said it's common knowledge in Taj.may God panish her enemies!

...just remembered that her BBC interview was in Oct 07, not in June as i wrote earlier. right at the end of BBC - Tajik-Tafreh programme you will find Manizha's new song. good luck!

Bahori Dushanbe...now I understand and have been thinking. Manija learn an English song like "Imagine" as recorded by John Lenon of the Beatles. Perform this for BBC and this will "spread her wings" and cause others to "back-off". Also she will get more record sales and money "talks". So, begin looking at sensitive English songs and embrace the English speaking world...this will bring you fame and bypass the jealousy of the few.

Update on downloading these videos with audio.
MUST use MOZILLA FIREFOX browser. Look for it in Google if you do not have it and install.
Then search for VIDEO DOWNLOAD HELPER and install it. This is a Mozilla plugin.

A tajik is not a persian only iranians are persians and not all tajikistanis are persians either in fact most of them aren't. She is a Tajikistani and her language is tajik. The word persian in modern language is distinctly associated with the modern nation of iran don't impose it on the rest of us.
