I've never seen the movie 300 but I've heard about them through the history channel.
Listen I want to fight, I want to kill people, I want to serve, I want to wear a uniform, I want the honor, courage, and commitment of the service.
YOU don't understand the point I'm trying to make here. American's love war. Thats why we have the largest all volunteer military and thats why the Marines are currently full. We WANT to kill, we were raised in war, its our heritage, our culture.

If you tell a recruiter (or at least a Marine one)you want to join a combat unit and kill people he will put you on a fast track to doing so. They WANT to hear that. They want you to be motivated to do dirty work. They LIKE hearing that. I told a Marine recruiter that and was ready to sign my papers off, Im not kidding either. But it goes beyond killing for me. I want to belong with people like me.

Actually no, the Marines made a massive recruitment drive aimed at Hispanics. Many Hispanics joined because of false promises, which was sad considering the Marines had always been very respectful.

The troops shown are basic infantry. Jaegerss (Jægersoldater) will never have a reporter with them showing their way of fighting. Almost every single mission, done by the Jaeger´s, is top secret.
