well said, actually as an afghan myself and anti-taliban, i think, the United States politicians are highly influenced by huge corporations .. if there would be peace in the midle east who would buy weapons from those corporations? If you'd like to know more about why the Russians didn't 'win' in AF, I recommend 'The Bear Went Over The Mountain: Soviet Tactics in Afghanistan.' It's quite dry, but it should at least give you an inkling of what an idiotic excuse for armchair general you are, you dirty hippie bastard.
