The first FUBAR mistake is some idiot within U.S. DoD made the FALSE assertion that Afghanistan's terrain is "too rough for tanks" without getting off his ass and doing a proper terrain analysis when you can clearly see with your own eyes that much of it is OPEN TERRAIN that even medium tanks like the Canadian Army's Leopard 1 tanks can traverse.

Go through the many Afghanistan "I-Love-Me" unit videos and look at the terrain in terms of what's GO and NO-GO. This convenient DoD lie derived from the defeatist excuse list of "we don't do mountains and we don't do jungles" plays right into the hands of the lightfighter egomaniacs who to their credit have the WILL TO FIGHT in closed terrains but lack the objectivity to use armored tracks (they don't want to LOOK like the "mech pussies" in heavy units they look down on) like readily available M113 Gavins LIGHT tracks that can traverse not only the open terrain but the majority of the CLOSED TERRAIN that is steep and rocky that pathetic wheeled trucks like the Humvee driven by the naive authoritarian parent Dumb-Ass-Mother Fukers (DAMFs) shown in this video cannot traverse. Social institutions are NOT "mom/dad" looking out for your best interests; and if you want to not be sacrificed you need to stand up and insist on getting the best tools to get the job done and possibly suffer the wrath of institutional a
nd peer disapproval in the process; but that's what ADULTS who are secure in themselves and do not need the military for money or ego co-dependence do to WIN. America pays us to win not have our asses kicked and wail over our flag-draped coffins. Furthermore, low ground-pressure tracks like M113 Gavins offer signifant armor protection from high explosive land mines and bursts like shown in the video to MOBILE PATROL around forward operating bases and are stable enough to carry long-range autocannon and 120mm mortar weaponry shooting out our own HE shells necessary to "reach out and touch" rebels taking pot shots from the nearby hills. Our NATO allies are switching from easily-ambushed road-bound wheeled trucks with wimpy machine gun bullet shooters that cannot move as needed over Afghanistan to TRACKS with autocannon and large caliber guns. They seem to not have the weak ego mental block that American light infantry narcissists have that's killing and maiming them and ruining the mission. Thank God for our Du

Private Greenslade was killed with five other Canadian Soldiers, when their LAV-III armored vehicle hit a roadside bomb. Greenslade was a member of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment.
Also note the pathetic flimsy fabric tents in the FOB under attack that should be replaced with fortified ISO container BATTLEBOXes.
