| This was not a bright idea. If there was old fuel still in the tank, it could have possible blown up after you guys decided to go closer to the tank. Also, as a tax payer and former military soldier, I don't find it entertaining to watch you throw tax payer dollars away by wasting munitions. You have to factor that this occurs not only with you but other guys throughout the military. That adds up. |

| Technically they werent throwing away the tax money, they were taking old abandoned military equipment out of service so the insurgents couldnt use it against the coalition. think about things man ;) |

| to answer your question about tax payers money they were grenades at the end of ther shelf life a were ment to be handed in for destruction,so we thought to get smoe training value out of them and put some kit out of use.becuse the insurgents have been know to recover bit and bobs from old tanks eg in this one we found a 12.7mm DSK HMG and spare barrels for the RPK (i think) and loads of ammo .i would rather waste ammo (as you call it) than have the kit used aganist use. |
