Hey man Canada does all the dirty work. WE travel by road and get blown up by IEDs. we've lost 87 people only 2500 soldiers in Afghanistan. The highest loss rate of any NATO nation. we need helicopters!!!!!

The Australians have a tiny Armed Forces like CAnada. Can't afford that many helicopters. Canada doesn't even have a Chinook, but they are ordering them now.

My son is stationed there. He actually likes it better being in country than getting dicked around on bases in the States - regs are a little looser, and he gets to hang out with other NATO and ANZAC troops.

im at Kandahar right now lol i am coming home on the 15th this month, ive just finised a 6 month's, i love the Australians out here there isnt maney of them its mostly the Americans and us brits but the Australians and brits we have a great crack together its all laughts piss around, the olympics thats all the boys are going on about to them, but they give as good as they get, Australia is a great fighting country and dedicated to the job out here, even if they are shit at cooking ahahah.

All the forces travel by road frequantly. IEDs kill lots of troops in the war because the taliban are cowards. Perhaps canadian forces have worse equipment (i dont know what they use) or perhaps they are less carefull when it comes to traveling by road compared to other forces.
