Many Afghan weddings are arranged, so the girl is getting married to someone her parents chose for her, so yea it's tough. She accepts her faith but she's sad because she's leaving her family home, the ppl she know for an almost Unknown husband and a certainly UNKNOWN future.

a) Separation anxiety, separation from parents, siblings, old home, friends, and relatives.
b) She is crying for uncertain future at the new (husband's) home and their family.
c) She is not crying to lament arranged marriage.
Yes, these are actors reflecting real life stories. Yes, most marriages are arranged, thats the culture.

some people are so stupid if they think farsi is spoken in Afghanistan, i lived there 14 years of my life no one speaks farsi, they speak Dari (Afghan Persian) or Pashto, and other regional languages such as Uzbek, Hazaragi, Turkmen, Baclochi, Pashai, Tajik etc.... they even speak Afghan Persian (Dari) on the east side of Iran get ur facts str8 u brainless person

i agree with you but education has nothing to do with this. its their culture. and trust me, i know what im talking about cuz i'm myself an afghan girl. although, i live in sweden, and things have changed, my family has adapted to the culture here. they would never give me away.

I like to say something for those who think afghan people are uneducated and following traditions. If any of you live in europe or in anyother modern nations, then you should know how much filthy life is. I have studied all my life in europe and learned alot about people and their life.
Western life cannot be compared to the beautiful life of afghan and pakistani people, And no western women can be equal to women of afghanistan. Education does not give a civilized culture my friends

Well girls usually cry during wedding, I have seen it in my life and it is not because of any pain. It is a sadness mixed with happiness. Leaving parents, starting new life, She would be having lots of responsibilities in her life.
Most people here think she is being forced. Certainly people from western countries could not understand such feelings, because they live for them selves. Not for family and not for religion.
