It is not controlled. It has a huge hole in the back, that is why it cannot be fired inside a small room, because all the fire and heat from the rocket will kill you. BTW, that is why they aer called recoilless rifles. Go google "recoilless rifles" and you will see.

That's a recoiless rifle, 90 or 106mm. They're old, from the 50's, replaced by RPGs and LAWs and such. They're not really a rocket, they're more like projectile with solid rocket fuel all around it, and a bunch of plastic gas-plates. The fuel burns and builds up alot of pressure and squirts out the projectile, and the gas plates rupture a split second later, decreasing but not eliminating the recoil. Gotta use hard mounts with them.
