He died while flying one of those ultralight planes. A spar broke, I believe, and he tumbled into the sea off the coast of California. Ironic. I always thought he'd die old in the mountains out near Telluride.

This song is awesome, and he barely hints at some cynicism when he sings about all the people coming in and scarring up the mountains. This reminds me of one of my 'other' favorite songs--The Last Resort by the Eagles.

Agreed 100% - my girlfriend and I gained a tremendous amount of respect for him after he testified at the Senate hearing. What's hilarious is many on the PMRC board expected him to side with them because of his wholesome image, but he was opposed to censorship in all forms.
