im not even a fan of bollywood movies. Uptodate there are only 2 Indian movies that I liked and the rest discouraged me from watching Indians movies period.
Its not that I agree or don't agree. I just never heard that before and I guess its because I haven't watched the recent ones. I do agree that they are rather cheesy cheap imitations of modern western culture, but then again so are a number of these Iranian songs, especially when there is little singing or musical quality.

Not all of them. Indian music is very very beautiful for your information and I'm not even Indian myself and there is nothign wrong with borrowing or being inspired by certain songs from different countries. So if Indian people want to make Indian versions of certain songs, people should take that as a compliment.
