Well, Islam obliges Muslim women to cover their heads and the dancers never showed their faces or heads during the dance. So Uzbeks stay faithful to Islam even in the belly dance! Awesome!

This is not uzbek dance, unfortunately these women lives in uzbekistan. These are not muslims. Rayhona getting old and she does not want to loose
her position for making money. This money take her to hell when time comes. Do not make misunderstanding in Islamic people. I think it is enough.

this may not belong to uzbek tradition, but this is the reality in uzbekistan now. and in case people sitting at the concerts ( and bars, restaurants etc) didn't like it, they wouldn;t perform like that. I just didn't like your words about people burning in hell for this dance, they are just doing their job and entertain people, they're not doing anything outrageous on the scene.

oh by the way, what do you think about Usmonova;s concerts? She's an Uzbek singer and uses Arabic belly dance in her shows, will she burn in hell for that too? As far as I know she's the most popular singer in Uzbekistan.

If you don't think so, then trust me, she is almost 27. :)
I don't approve this a-la "belly dance" because I don't see any artistic movements in these girls' dances. Check out some real belly dances and you will realize it by yourself. Other than that, it's not my business to judge the girls, who dance on the scene. :)
