Ive seen Kiarostami's movies, but I dont think they are that great. His use of children particularly bothers me. He puts these adult or rather artificial dialogs on these small kids, making his movies somewhat uncredible. I only watch his movies for the scenary and the fact that they are unconventional.

I agree that the dialogues the son and the mother have in Ten are slightly extraordinary but still overall I would say that Ten is a very interesting social and artistic statement. I havn't yet seen any of his other films.

I must say i enjoyed the movies very much. I think the actors play EXTREMELY well, I even now sit and find myself in doubt. However it's clear that the child speaks like a grown up, yet I don't find this disturbing like irannostalgia, actually i find it being a funny twist. If the disturbance is regarding morality, well lets just say the world and iran has larger issues than this, if even it is an issue

The way that kid talked and acted was an implication of his father's influence on him. He was acting like his father and like the way his father was arguing with him about his mother. watch his tune and body language again, and u will see a sharp reflection of "The Father" all around "The Son"
