I love the cauterizing of the wounds scene the best. If you all get a chance type in "Irish Angel" and see what they do with this scene and let me know what you think I love it.

the way i see it, is its not that they cant aim, but since it was the father and the two sons, im thinking it was "Divine Intervention". like Pulp Fiction. because, you know, everything in this movie is god-driven. and the partner dude got his finger shot off, because he wasnt related..just a thought.
