This is an extremely brief tutorial on how to do an alternative bolt mod on the Tokyo Marui or CYMA/Cybergun M1A1 Thomspon.
I know you all know Lifehost's way of doing it. THIS IS A DIFFERENT WAY. He cuts his gearbox and piston. This does no such thing, and just hollows out a spring guide.
It's extremely brief, I know... It might be confusing. If you need help, just PM me on Airsoft Barracks or you can post a comment here.
Using thread lock on the bolt may be a good idea. The bolt gets loose a lot.
I must say - ONCE AGAIN.
If you have NO gearbox experience, then do NOT attempt this. Nearly 85% of ALL of the people asking for help are on REGULAR GEARBOX PROBLEMS that don't have to do with the mod.
So, PLEASE. Get to know your gearbox BEFORE attempting this mod.

At one point in time, I had my Thompson going 16 rounds per minute. At 1000, you should be okay. I wouldn't go that much higher though.
Remember to soften up the bolt collision. That's the main thing to focus on.

Not MUCH faster.
Doing this is like adding 5FPS to your gun. So, if your gun shoots 350FPS, it would probably put stress on parts as if it was shooting 355FPS while still shooting 350FPS.

no if you want perfect accuracy use .36 but those are for snipers for better accuaracy with the thompson use .25, and whatever you do DONE USE ANY .12 BBs THOSE DESTRY AEGs

When I removed the two screws from the stock. The smaller screw (The one you started to remove in the video) Practically fell out after touching it. Now it will not go back in. Instead of being able to screw it in, it will just slide in and out. Did you or anyone else have this problem?

Yes dude i have the same problem and i have the cybergun M1A1. and something inside is still moving. Maybe it is necessary to demount whole gun to find out which piece of sh.t is it...

Yes on the CYMA it's metal same with the charging handle. the only part that's not metal on the upper receiver is the rear sight. So ya it'll work.
