Canada has been making it's own infantry weapons since 1999, we don't get trained in america, its actually us who trains americans in Alberta, we have many bases in which to train recruits, so don't spread bullshit around about things you know nothing of.

We might do exercises in the US and the odd training but we certainly are not "trained" by them. Your uncles a Cpl. Who cares?? Im in the CF; CF troops dont get trained in the states,we dont buy our kit from the states,the LAV3 is built right here in Canada and our C7 service rifle is built by Demaco Arms,a Canadian company.I am with PJYOST38,as a soldier it doesnt matter what country you are from, we are commrads and Iv worked with Americans, Brits, Aussies.ppl who bitch about the states are obviously not soldiers just civis who want to have some opinion about the military who are clueless cuz they are not in the system

Okay you're all fuckin retarde unless you agree with the following: Canada supplies its OWN weapons, and so do the States. I live in Alberta and know LOTS of people on base in Edmonton and Wainwright and am almost 100 percent sure we don't do training exercises here.
French Canadians, however, DO go down to the states for exercises, but only for the purpose of practice, and so the states can practice fighting an enemy using a foreign language.

I actually heard that French-Canadians actually TRAIN Americans because they speak another language AND obviously everyone should know that, the CFs are way more disciplined than the AFs (if that's how they're called) Correct me if I'm wrong but Canadians have a basic training of 3 months regardless of their branch and after that they get a 4 months training specialized in their branch.
As for the Americans, I heard they only get 3/4 months for everything, I can't say if it's true tho.

And I also KNOW that some troops do practice competitions with Americans and CFs own them even if they have less technology, I mean, USA has a bigger budget. Canada does do training in America, but it's not actual training training. It's more of practice competitions. Canada has the best infantry training in the world, which was voted on by the United Nations. Every infantry soldier get's twice as much, or three times as long training as American Training along with better training techniques. We also have Professional Weapons courses where soldiers can reload, draw, shoot fast and professionally. What we lack in tech, we make up for in training.

And how long is infantry training for the CA? over here in the UK, it's 22 weeks, 24 weeks if you're in the calvary or parachute regiment. As far as i'm aware that's the longest Army infantry training i've heard off. Our Royal Marines train for 32 weeks, which might i add no US Marine has passed when some come over to try out.
