I liked him on the show and all and I was rooting for him, but he didn't do a good job of this song. I Walk The Line is a difficult song and can only be properly performed by a choice few people. He's very good...Just not quite at this song.

oooh child! you just dont know good music. Johny and June, noone else like em. they may not be the best vocalists, hell they may not even be good vocalists, but the songs and the way they are song is just so wholesome, if you appreciate good music, it pulls you in and doesnt let you go. Daughtry has hits, but i personaly dont believe he has what it takes to be iconic. Carrie Underwood, not gonna be around for many years. shes gona have the Spice Girls effect, nothin but hits and then noone cares

Catseye664,I was with u 100% until u brought Carrie Underwood in2 this.Now,I love the classics.Johnny got me in2 country music,& I Walk the Line is my favourite song of all time.However,artists like Carrie make me feel like music still has a fighting chance.Some of her recent releases are a little popish,but her voice totally has that "WOW" factor that Johnny & so many other country greats had.Listen 2 her version of How Great Thou Art,& please let me know if u still feel the same way about her.
