what is all the fuss is about with this A380? just another jumbo jet imo. its not flying faster, higher or further than any other passenger plane or breaking new ground with cutting edge technology. when did you last heard some1 rave about a oil tanker? big isn't always better. on the other hand Concorde is by far a more impressive plane. it achieve something that deem not possible at its time.

it's going to cost airlines so much to keep that thing in the air. With gas prices the way they are and engines being used i don't see how many airlines will be picking any of them up.

No one seems to get the fact that this is a big deal because it can take more passengers, further, with the lowest per-passenger fuel usage of any commercial jetliner. Not to mention that it also caters to those with a penchant for luxury: A bar, individual suites, bedrooms, etc. Not everyone is trying to get a flight to Paris for $50 on Dirtyoldasscattletrainthatllbe50dollarsforahandiwipe Airlines. Fly first class on Emirates or Air Singapore, you'll see what I'm talking about.
