He will NOT bring all troops home from Iraq, he will continue the occupation in Iraq despite most Iraqi's and most AMericans voting for him wanting to bring them home.
Obama's website staes hiden in a lot of text:
"Under the Obama plan, a RESIDUAL FORCE WILL REMAIN IN IRAQ and in the region TO CONDUCT targeted COUNTER TERROISM MISSIONS AGAINST AL QAEDA in Iraq"
That's not even technically ending the war for the troops remaining that want to come home.
And would the US troops really be happy at the prospect of withdrawing from 1 war in Iraq only to be redeployed into 2 wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan?
Obama isn't change. He's a continuation of Bush's mad policy of hunting terroists around the world at the expense of counless troops and civilians.
Ralph Nader on Afghanistan war in 2002:
"Bush burned down a haystack to try to find a couple of needles. He didn't find the needles, but there have been 1000s of innocent deaths." Nader says he would have organized a modest multinational force and sent them into Afghanistan to arrest Osama bin Laden, a kind of police raid. Then he would have tried him at The Hague. "Sept. 11 was an international crime, a massacre," "We should have gone forward with international law."
There is one reason the war zone he visited was quiet enough to welcome him: the surge.
That would be the surge he never supported in the midst of the increasingly successful war he has never supported. This week, Mr. Obama got to meet with troops he has never supported
In my honest opinion, I think his whole tour is a bunch of BS. It is sad to know that our future president may be the one to sit down with terrorist leaders. Somebody who wont put his hand over his heart for his country...real sad.
Obama's foreign policy is also militat & it's time for an independent.
That quote was straight off Obama's website, and he has said it in many of his speeches hiden in artful rhetoric.
Only 1 journalist Amy Goodman on Democracy Now challendeged Obama on not ending the occupation in Iraq or withdrawing private contracters.
Watch youtube video called:
"Amy puts Obama in the hot seat"
More civilians have died in Afghanistan than in 9/11 hence an increase in violence in a country that has a long history of resisting foreign occupation. The same thing will happen in Pakistan.
End the war on terror.
Support Ralph Nader.
That's the worst part about him.He has an artful way of making war sound peaceful.
Many Afghan civilians complain about being trapped between the Taliban, war lords in the government and foreign occupation. The one element that all sides unite on is against the military occupation,as would any country.
There's an insigtful youtube video entitled:
"The war in Afghanistan is just as bad as Iraq"
by American Sonali Kolhatkar who wrote Bleeding Afghanistan
You want issues to discuss?
Let's see: How about how the Democrats lie about only Bush saying there were WMDs in Iraq.
Here's the clip: /watch?v=_1q9Q0OtJ4g&feature=related
Or, how about how the Dems voted to give ILLEGALS welfare & social security. Here's that clip:

No one makes things up....go look for yourself because obviously you're the kool-aid drinker
Please help get as many Americans as possible see that video footage of Sonali Kolhatkar's speech on Afghanistan.
The desperation to exit one war does not make it right to overlook the the expansion of the war in Afghanistan, and Obama'sne war in Pakistan where more afghan civilians have died as a consequence of the war than 9/11 & it's not being reported.
