Pararescuemen have better training than these guys. Notice how you never see videos on their training?! Only once a long time ago by the discovery channel, it was called Paraescuemen: That others may live! made back in the '90s and has been unavailable for years! Now Videos on the Seals? 100's if not thousands! 26 weeks to become a seal?
to be a PJ in the USAFSOC it takes at least 52 weeks if your lucky with zero snags along the way! so just finished seal training? good job! now do it again!

Maybe academically but not necessarily mentally or physically. SEALs don't go to school to get a BA in rescue procedures, they go to become warriors. Besides, no one becomes a SEAL right after they graduate BUD/S, they still have to go through many more months of SQT before they can be pinned and accepted into the teams (If you're lucky with zero snags along the way). Injury, over exertion, and succumbing to the elements are real dangers to guys going through this training.

It is completely wrong to say one force is better than another. They both exist for a reason. They each have a specific purpose to fulfill. Thus, their training includes everything they need to accomplish that purpose. The military would be ineffective if everyone competed at doing the same thing. The best soldiers are the ones who strive to be the best at whatever it is that they do.

calm down, calm down. Nothin against the navy seals and more so against those that only report on them. Yes navy seals are all good n grand, yeah yeah the green beret to, well most have no idea that AFSOC has spec ops troopers to! Oh when other spec ops go down guess who saves their asses. Yep, USAFSOC Pararescue and STS. Just sayin.

Where are you getting your numbers? It's around two years or more until you've completed all the training required to become a Navy SEAL, and only then do you get your Trident. BUD/S is just the begining. In fact, they really don't teach you very much about becomming a SEAL in BUD/S. With the exception of underwater demolition (hence the name) it's mostly just PT,......massive ammounts of PT.
Don't get me wrong though, PJ's are great as well, along with Combat Controlers.

You ignorant punks, You played too much CoD4 and got your brains all fucked up thinking the SAS is the best Special Forces around the world. I guess since they are the best, why didn't they protect you against the Nazi back in WW2? And don't you dare say they weren't around back then. I don't know if the SEALS are the best in the world, but to say they "Suck" and are "Shit" is plain stupid, And you ever compared them to the SAS. It's obvious who's better.

How many times do I gotta say calm down! I understand that BUDS is just a prerequisite platform to weed out the weak! But enough hats off to seals we all get it! How about some bad ass vids on AFSOC! PJ's, Combat Controllers and STS(special tactics squadron). I can count On 1 finger how many docs exist on them. SEALS docs, I cant count that fuckin high!

calling any SOCOM unit "the best" or "worst" means you are not in the military and probably under 20 years old.. all SOCOM units train till failure and all fight together, hell a lot of SOCOM guys end up going too all different branches and fighting and training different SOCOM units. they just name their equipment differently, and name their missions differently... but like before, they all train 'till they failure, there's an end to how much you can be pushed, they all push that far.
