Tell a friend:

weird.
i like british slang:)
i wish i had a cool accent:(
"we dont pet things we stroke them... ill leave it at that"... haha!
brilliant!
also we have roundabouts here and i absolutely hate them because i think people will hit me. I'd rather stop at a light and wait my turn. I like your diagram of the roundabout but i think driving counter clockwise in a roundabout looks quite dangerous.
(in Britain)- Rubber means eraser
thank you for the insight, you've openned up my mind to new words. i asked my brit friend what on earth twats were and he just laughed and laughed :)
So, I'm glad someone explained the jelly and jam thing bellow, but there is one thing about Jello, and I may be repeating what someone else has said, Jello (Jell-O) is actually the brand name. For some reason we have this thing were we refer to items by brand names so perhaps that is why we call it Jello. Same thing goes for band-aids, they are really "adhesive strips" or something...
And I call them roundabouts, as well.
:)
will someone tell me what a twat is?
So if we said you bummed a fag it would mean something totally different in America lol!
fanny :P
bonnet :)
ok....i LO0VE your accent :)
