We are fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq and Taliban in Afghanistan so we do not have to fight them in USA.
Al Qaeda attacked us from Taliban safe haven in Iraq on 9/11/01. Fundementalist Islam is at war with the US and we carry the fight to them so we do not have to fight in our country.

I guess you forgot when the Marines were given permission to engage. The fired one shot at a time and got one kill at a time at long range. Your people could not even hit the building they were on. I guess you also forgot when our special forces drove through the streets with these little honeys that would blow up any car bomb within 300 meters. It killed a LOT of bomb makers. You must also have forgotten the retaliation for the bombings of the embassy there. Loads dead.
