Since it would be useless to not classify anyone as a Christian, everyone is a Christian.
The way to combat religion is NOT through personal attacks. It needs to be done through reason and education.
VX may be a lunatic or he may be building a profitable career for himself, or he may have an honest passion for his beliefs. Who cares?
Stick with truth and reason.
Their parents, their friends, their teachers and their clergy continue to reinforce religion throughout their lives and during their most impressionable years.
It is education that will eventually break this cycle. THAT is what we need to be promoting.

You made a point about sense of humor: I've certainly seen no signs of humor in woos of any variety.
in b4 self-diagnosed. That is not the case here.
Reason will prevail - eventually. Some of these people have never heard the other side of the question and are just flabbergasted that anyone could have the audacity to deny their god.
Some of them are genuinely frightened by us. We just have to start their wheels turning.
I live in a town where the only friends i could get were fundamentalists. Which in high school was very hard because i had just moved from another place where all of my friends were the children of scientists and were all critical thinkers, To this day these people and my time there have a profound effect on me and my view of the overly religious, so you might understand how hard it was to be surrounded by bigotry.
