Beerxpirate the .50 is loud but affective you dont have to be close you can take the shot from over a mile away so sound really almost deosnt matter. I know i use one, a Barrett M .107 50 cal sniper rifle

I don't remember the military name for that gun but it isn't the .50 it's the Remington 700 chambered in the .338 short action ultra mag. It makes sense too.... the SEALs wouldn't be carrying a .50, to big and heavy and they don't go on missions where they would need the devistation of a .50, Plus, the .338 SAUM is MUCH flatter shooting, MUCH more accurate, and can shoot just as far if not farther accurately.

nickp18, you are right it is a .338 but, a .338 cannot be chambered in a Rem 700 short action it must be the long action.
The second rifle at 0:43 is a Barrett.
The 50 is actually not a sniper rifle. It is an anti-material rifle. I know all the Counter Strike players will disagree with me and that's fine. Besides, the 408 Cheytac trumps them both so it really doesn't matter.

Snipers are impressive though. I remember hearing something about how because of the wind, one sniper had to aim some 15 feet to the left of his target in order to hit it and he did.
