afghan afghani afghanistan, Attanr the performed movements you see is called Attanr in Afghan language , it seems as a Dance but it'snt , its actually a kind of excercise to warm up muscles and in old days it was performed before war to warmup the muscles and prepare a soldier for war. Now this performance is more like national heritage and mostly popular among the youth as an art .This performance is called Attanr which is also called an Afghan national Dance. Its a tradition which shows the Unity between Afghan Nation and Attanr is approxmately over 7000 years old and was a kind of sport performances to get ready for war, like parade. was also performed during the victories over war. Attanrl has over 20 types of movements and the most popular Attanrl is in Paktya province of Afghanistan , also its more than 20 different styles of Attanrl .
