I have worked with the Seals and they are good but there are far better special forces out there, sorry to disappoint you guys. it's a proven fact on many varied fields of tactics and drills. But the seals do have alot of cool gadgets like mini spy planes etc. but nope definitely not the best in the world.
just more delusions of grandeur.

reilly, there are better at certain tasks, but at the task they do, they are one of the best. And nothing is a proven fact. Seals are very good, and I would rank them among the best.

reilly your british sas thas a 6 month basic training, and they think they are the most well rounded special forces. Seals have about 3 years of training. This doesn't mean seals are better than the Sas at counter terrorism (Sas' hallmark), but they are indeed better at alot of things. And BUDS and other seal training is just as tough as SAS selection.

My father was a SEAL for 8 years. SEALS use there knives just as much as their guns. So if you want to be a seal, prepare to gut someone and look in his eyes when you do it

This is a CAPEX guys...maybe at Little Creek. The ST2 operators have thrashed everything beyond the bridges. If there was a shot fired & this were a real recon patrol, these guys would have broken contact. Light fighters don't carry so much ammo. This is from experience of being in Rangers & Army SF. Bobbyhewett, don't talk that shit. You obviously don't have the experience to talk amigo.

SEALs are combat divers, cross-trained as recon. I worked with many of them & at 1 time had 1 as a tm ldr. As with operators in Army SF or SAS, they have guys specializing in varying areas to round out a team's capabilities. In the water, SEALs & SBS have very few equals. Some of their recondos are like mine, utter horror to meet in direct contact. That's some true shit. Army SF

I seriously doubt that anybody on youtube is or was SF, Navy SEALS, or SAS. Those guys all know what they are capable of, and they all respect one another. They are professional soldiers, and none of our enemies have anything anywhere near their capabilities. People need to stop talking shit when they don't know one way or another. If you have a burning desire to prove that the UK or the US has the best special ops, enlist and try to get in.

obmax has a good point...but i dont see the point a soldier is a soldier, the U.S. has nothing to prove to the U.K. and the U.K. has nothing to prove either...in my eyes every one of the guys SAS,Seal,USMC,Royal Commando are all great theirs a reason the U.K. and americans are allies because we are the elite of the world(canadians also) and we won WWI and WWII because we work together.. do you guys see my point now?
