Mujahaddin with antitank missile blows up Soviet APC in the mountains of Afghanistan, late 1980s. He's happy because he has struck a glorious blow against the godless infidel Russians. Twenty years later he or some of his friends will use similar weapons against US troops -- the people who supported and supplied the Mujahaddin's war against the USSR. In the intelligence trade this is called "blowback."
