nicotine is as addictive as morphine yet has NO MEDICAL USE. it has a high potential for abuse. nicotine and alcohol qualify be Schedule 1 substances. but allow them so that folks will die younger from tobacco cancer or alcohol related traffic fatalities (50%+ of all fatalities in US alcohol related)
morphine is a tryed and true medicine for thousands of year, while addictive, has almost no harmful side effects other than constipation and possible withdrawl. DEREGULATE-DECRIMINALIZE=SAFER USA!!

I work at a pharmacy here in the US, and I see firsthand the abuse [some] people inflict on the welfare system. They drive expensive sports cars, wear the finest clothes and jewelry, but they're outraged when they are told to pay $3.00 for their medication. Unbelievable.

right at the start I gotta say, calling someone white or black is less racist than the PC terms that replace them, you don't call white folks european americans, so why call black folks african americans? That to me seems lazy, because sometimes you call a white person italian american or spanish american, but a black person from kenya is called african american, that's fuckin lazy in my opinion, black and white makes far more sense to me.

That's clearly either a lie or a massive misrepresentation of people receiving state aid. Sports cars? Finest jewellery? That's ludicrous. Put a percentage on it, I'm guessing zero, but let's be polite and put the number at 1%: is this criminal activity anywhere near as expensive as corruption at the upper echelons by "the good people"? If you start stripping away local industries (mining, motor etc) and replacing them with jobs like hotel work (which is seasonal and dependant on foreign visitors etc) you get huge unemployment in communities where there used to be steady jobs. It's not about being lazy. Downtrodden, maybe. We need to say "there will be jobs, so no need for welfare" and that's the end of it. Instead what I think I see from Paul is - sink or swim. Well fuck that.
