AND ITZ FUNNY COZ THEY NOT ALLOWD 2 HAVE MOR BABIEZ
1. They teach the polite forms before the dictionary forms, which is pretty bad since the dictionary form is the base for everything else.
2. The seem to treat "da" and "desu" as the same word, when "da" in fact is a declarative particle whereas "desu" is a polite ending.
For example, a sentence like "nihongo wo naraitai desu" would make no sense if "desu" were considered the Japanese word for "is".
