I am not in favour of Mullas BUT Islam has some code of life which warns of consequences of getting involved in music.
I am a muslim and also studied music and have found that its Not Just Music which is discouraged in Islam but the kind of music that takes you off from realities and duties.
Unfortuantely, a melodeous music has the ability to thwart in way of duties which require your concentration.
The melodeous music has effect analogous to wine or magic n makes u forgetful of your duties.

I like the song very much.
I appreciate Shoaib Mansoor's creativity talent. But...
Its not how Islam spread.
Long before Islam India knew music already. But people were trapped in cast system.
Islam was spread by the moral values of Aulias
a. Justice
b. Tolerance
c. Wisdom
d. Cleanliness
e. Truth
Its the purity of Islam that attracted and continues to attract people even today making it world's fastest growing religion.

when i say arabisation i mean the same paint that is/was applied to afghanistan and now pakistan. im talking about saudi influcence. pakistan draws much of its historical cultural heritage from persian/tukic influnces in regards to islam and thus has forged its own unique identity from such pedagree parents...ive seen the saudi influence and i dont like it opne bit

I think you are the one who is playing messenger. The Prophet (SAW) told the Ansari women to continue their tradition of singing and playing the daff at weddings. He would sometimes ask the sahaba with good voices to sing when they were on expiditions. It is only when the music is geared towards the desires, then it is haram. You should be careful not to make haram what Allah has allowed.
