Cherry and Beasley were killed on August 7th 2004 in southern Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. Their vehicle hit an IED. Also killed was an Afghan interpretor. Only the LT survived the attack.. I was there it sucked..

Im an Australian Soldier who just got back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. that place is getting better, but is still fucked up. we got attacked, coming back from a tour by an IED, i was in the Jeep behind the veichle that got hit, one soldier died. its seriously scary when it happens but all your training takes over.

God be with you. I am a Cadet in the Civil Air Patrol and my squadron meets in a National Guard armory in VA. Sometimes we will see the guardsmen walking around and their solemn looks humble me. Thank you for all that you do. God Bless you.
